iBex Channel Manager now supports up to 3 connections to a sales channel from a single property. Why might you require this? Below are some examples of use.
Scenario 1
You operate a motel which has some rooms with differing star ratings. Your property has 2 accounts/listings at a sales channel – the first with a 3-star rating and the second with a 4-star rating.
From your iBex account you set up 2 connections for the property to the the sales channel. The connection to the 3-star property from iBex may link just your 3-star rooms, or both 3-star and 4-star rooms (dependant on account at the channel), and your second connection links just your 4-star rooms to the second account at the channel.
Scenario 2
You operate a holiday park with self contained units, cabins, sites and dorm beds. You have 3 accounts/listings at a sales channel – one as a holiday park, a second as a motel and a third as a backpacker.
From your iBex account you set up 3 connections from the property to the the sales channel. For the holiday park account at the channel you link all your room room types in iBex, for the motel account at the channel you link just your self contained units, and lastly you link your dorm beds from iBex to the backpacker account at the channel.
The above is dependant upon sales channels permitting the set up of additional accounts - please contact them directly. |
Instructions
Please view the connection instructions for each individual sales channel.
As always, where you are simultaneously listing your availability over a number of sites, we recommend use of an on request threshold as queued updates awaiting processing by sales channels will cause vulnerability to double bookings (even if of a short duration only). |
