Uploading room and property photos – Seekom

Photos uploaded here will appear on your Website Booking Screen (if you have installed it on your website).

To upload photos for all properties and rooms types, click on Account Photos found under the heading “Accounts” in your iBex menu.

You will be taken to a landing page (see screenshot below)

1. Filter Photos

This is used to filter property and room type photos you would like to display on the page.

Select 1 or more properties
In the property it will display a list of property and room type photos.
Select the photos you wish to see using the checkboxes
This will then show all the albums you have selected

Click on Clear Filters to reset back to the default view

2. Uncatergorised Photos

This album will contain photos that haven’t been ‘tagged’ to a specific property or room type. You can have an unlimited number of photos in this album but they can not be ordered.

3.Uploading Photos

Open the property album
Open the room type or property album

To upload your property and room photos drag and drop multiple photos into the green box or click on the green plus to browse photos from your computer.

NOTE You can only upload a maximum of 20 photos in each album and it will only allow you to bulk upload 10 photos at a time

Good quality images need to be 1200x800px. When a photo has been uploaded that does not meet the minimum requirements, it will display a red exclamation mark on the photo thumbnail.

On hover, you can select the photo (along with multiple other photos) by clicking on the checkbox within the same album; this will give you options to 'Edit' or Delete' photos

4. Reordering Photos

You can change the order of your photos by dragging the photos around in that album

Reordering the photo will display that exact order on you front booking screen

Your first photo is the "primary" photo which is displayed on the property brochure

5. Editing Photos

To edit 1 photo click on the edit button on the photo.

A pop up will appear where you can add or amend the photo title as well as a description
You can rotate your photo
The right hand side is where you can choose to:
- tag photos to other album by selecting albums and the checkbox

OR untag the photo from albums by selecting the checkbox. If a photo is not tagged to any albums this will then display in the Uncatergorised Photos album

Click “Save Changes” once you have finishing editing

To edit multiple photos

Select the checkboxes on the photos you want edited
Click on the green button "Edit Selected Photos"
It will inform you the number of images selected
You can use the arrows to scroll and amend the titles and descriptions or the rotation
Right hand side gives you the ability to tag or untag photos from different albums

IMPORTANT NOTE: The ‘X’ amount of photos you have selected to bulk edit will update the ‘X’ photos to the albums which are selected -see example screenshot below:

6 . Deleting Photos

To delete 1 photo

Click on the “Delete” button on the
A pop up will appear to confirm if you want to delete the photo or click “Cancel” which will take you back to the landing page

NOTE: Deleting the photo will be removed from ALL albums.

To delete multiple photos

Select the checkboxes on the photos you want edited
Click on the red button "Delete Selected Photos"
or click “Cancel” which will take you back to the landing page

NOTE: Deleting the selected photos will be removed from ALL albums.
