What is the reference room?

We always select one of your rooms as the reference room. This reference room is the basis for the derivation of all your other room types. It is also the first room type you’ll see when you log in to the app.

Which room should be the reference room?  

This is up to you. We usually recommend using your most popular room type here. Sometimes, hotels already have the same concept of a reference room in their PMS or their Channel Manager. If so, we just stick to that.  

The reference room is the basis for the derivation of all other room types.

When it comes to pricing, you have two options with RoomPriceGenie:

1. Only price the reference room, or
   
   
2. Price all individual room type categories.
