LateRooms ceased trading in August 2019 and the interface has been decommissioned.

If you have a live account with LateRooms you can now automate availability, rates and bookings by interfacing/connecting your iBex account to LateRooms. Click here for more information on listing with LateRooms.

Laterooms can also update their sister site AsiaRooms. Please contact your LateRooms account manager for more details.

Note: If you would like Seekom support to make the connection for you, a charge of $110 per hour (+tax) will apply with a minimum charge of $50 (+tax).

Request LateRooms activate channel manager connection

LateRooms will confirm when permission to connect has been activated – only then complete remaining steps below.

From left menu select Sales Channels Add a sales Channel

At the pop up window titled ‘New Sales Channel’ click the button Register Available Sales Channel

Enter ‘laterooms’ into search field at top right of window and press enter on your keyboard.

Matching results will be displayed – see example screen image below.

Click the green plus icon adjacent to Late Rooms (see above example).

Optionally update General section fields as required.

Notes are private. Refer sample example screen image below.

At Rules section:

select required Selling Group (likely to be Agents)
select Rate Modifier (Rate 1 will typically be same as you sell at, other options will be a % increase or discount)
set Multi-booking Invoice as required (PMS accounts only. No means you will send an invoice for each booking, yes means you batch multiple bookings into an invoice)
set Commission charged by Late Rooms (PMS accounts only. )
set Commission Extras Code (PMS accounts only. Likely to be Misc Cmsn)

Refer example below:

Click Register Sales Channel button.

You will progress to the Channel Mapping tab.

Enter your email address at iBex Notification Emails To field.

It is recommended that iBex Email on New Booking are set as follows:

Block Operator – not checked
Block Property – checked
Block Customer – checked

It is recommended that iBex Booking Email Rule is set to ‘Do not send emails’.

Set Min Stay Handling field as required (we recommend First Available).

This is really only relevant if you will be mapping a single room type from iBex to multiple room types at Late Rooms (eg. for length of stay price variations, etc).

Set Allocation Handling field as required (we recommend Total per Room).

This is really only relevant if you will be mapping a single room type from iBex to multiple room types at Late Rooms (eg. for length of stay price variations, etc).

Click Save button.

Note: If you receive an error at this point you have likely missed step 1 where Late Rooms must provide permission for iBex channel manager to interface to your Late Rooms account.

At City / Post Code fields enter your city and post code. See example image below.

At Property Latitude / Longitude field enter latitude and longitude for your property.

Note: If you do not have latitude/longitude points for your property click here to obtain.

At Cancel Penalty / Days field set/enter as required.

Sample screen image below shows a First Night penalty if the booking is cancelled within 7 days of arrival.

Note: Rates are set at Late Rooms as either refundable, or non-refundable. Where you have set an iBex rate as requiring a 100% deposit this will be set at Late Rooms as being non refundable. All other rates will be refundable per cancellation penalty you have set here.

Check Load Property Details field. See example screen image below.

Room and rate mapping will now be set – refer sample screen image below.

Complete each room mapping row as follows:

Channel Room Name – select as required (this is the room type name at Late Rooms).
iBex Rate Name – select as required.
Channel Rate Name – select as required (this is the rate name at Late Rooms).

Click ‘+’ to map any iBex room type to further room types at Late Rooms (eg. for differing minimum stays/rates – see notes at bottom of this page).

Click Save & Update Channel button.

Wait a few minutes and click View Log button.

If the Remote Service Log Viewer indicates queued updates are pending, wait a further few minutes and click the ‘Refresh’ button.

If you have performed the connection successfully you will see OK messages for inventory & rates uploaded.

Click here to email Late Rooms and advise them you have successfully uploaded rates & availability from iBex channel manager. Late Rooms will check your account and then publish live.

IMPORTANT NOTES

If you have made any updates to your property details and/or room details you will need to send an update to LateRooms. Please see the tab above these instructions for more information.

Base 1 pax rates from iBex not transmitted to LateRooms unless the max guest count in the rate is also 1. Where a room holds more than 1 person and the base rate in iBex is 1, then the 2 person rate will be transmitted to LateRooms.

After any extensive modification of your rates/prices within iBex it is recommended you perform a full re-synch to LateRooms. Click Here for instructions.

Sending an update to Laterooms

The interface to LateRooms is very comprehensive. Late Rooms not only reads availability & rates from iBex but also property and room descriptions.

Follow the steps below if you have made a change to your property details and/or room details and wish to send an update to LateRooms.

Please note that if you have updated any descriptions directly in your Laterooms account that they will be overridden by the descriptions in iBex once you follow the instructions below.

2	From left menu select Sales Channels Add a sales Channel
3	At connected channels grid, click 'lateroom' ID.
4	Click Channel Mapping tab.
5	Check Load Property Details field. See example screen image below.
4	Click Save & Update Channel button.
