Important Notes
AADX Account setup
AADX also offer AADX+ which connects you to the GDS (Global Distribution System) to increase the distribution of your inventory to further agents around the world.
If you are already updating the GDS through another Sales Channel (such as reconline), do not sign up for AADX+ as the GDS can only be updated from one source.
AADX offer 3 rate types, LEADS, Government and Government Travel.
LEADS (which are Corporate and MICE rates) and Government Travel rate types can be updated with rates and availability by your iBex Channel Manager.
Government rates are fixed according to an agreement between yourself and AADX so neither the rates or availability can be updated by your iBex Channel Manager. If you have Government rates, any bookings and availability will need to be manually managed by you.
Once your room types have been set up in your AADX account, they must be set to Live by AADX in order for iBex to be able to update them with your rates and availability.
If you require any assistance with your account or want to make any changes to it, please contact Danilo Curcuruto (AADX Global Contracting Manager) at daniloc@aadx.com.au or on +61 2 8585 0899.
Bookings
AADX sends confirmed bookings to your iBex account and the value of the booking is what the customer paid (ie Gross).
Any amendments or cancellations will also be updated accordingly.
You can receive payment for any AADX bookings 2 ways:
On a charge back basis where you invoice them for bookings at check out and they pay you 30 days from the day of receiving the invoice.
By using an Enett virtual credit card which will be chargeable at check out (with any merchant fees absorbed by you). Please contact AADX directly to arrange what payment method you prefer.
Rates
AADX require you to send Gross Rates which include their commission (which is usually 10% unless a different rate is agreed between yourself and AADX).
AADX does not support the number of occupants per room or extra person or child rates. The rate that they are sent will be applicable regardless of the number of occupants booked.
If you want to provide different prices for the different number of occupants in a room, separate room types will need to be created in your AADX account and new rates matching the number of occupants will need to be mapped to these room types.
For example, if you have a Standard room and want to offer different prices for 1 or 2 occupants you will need to create 2 room types in your AADX account with the Room Type Names as Standard Single, and Standard Double. These room types can then be mapped in iBex to the 2 corresponding rates that need to be valid for 1 or 2 occupants.
TIP – Since AADX book Corporate and Government travel, they generally only require Single or Double Occupancy pricing. |
AADX does not support minimum stay requirements in the interface.
If you want to provide them with multiple minimum stay requirement rates for the same room, separate room types will need to be created in your AADX account so that the specific minimum stay rates can be mapped to each room type.
For example, if you have a Standard room and want to offer a per night price and a minimum 3 night stay rate you will need to create 2 room types in your AADX account with the Room Type Names as Standard (per night), Standard (min 3 nights). These room types can then be mapped in iBex to the 2 corresponding rates that need to be valid for either 1 or 3 nights.
Due to the above limitations, it is recommended that you contact your AADX account manager so that they can set up your account as required.
Additional Information
AADX is mainly a wholesale supplier so they do not have public booking screens. They sell your property through multiple agents and channels – please contact them directly for more information.
