Imagine the demand for this year is not as high as you thought it would be and your base price was too high. Alternatively, what if it is much busier than you thought, and prices were set too low?
The Auto-Fix feature spots that demand that was not on course for the target – meaning that your prices were too high/low. It then adjusts your prices for the actual demand for that month.
The Auto-Fix has two components. The first is your occupancy over the whole calendar month. The second is the target occupancy set in the Target Occupancy setting (default is 80% occupancy). If your demand so far is higher or lower than your target, we adjust so that your future demand will hit target.
The target occupancy can be set under the Room Type Setup
Just as we analyse individual days on their pick-up performance, we use Auto-Fix to analyse a whole month on its pick-up performance. If overall occupancy is higher, then the system would raise prices for the entire month. If it is lower, then we will reduce the prices for the entire month in the same way. This readjustment kicks in for the three calendar month from check-in date. At this point, we determine that there is enough data to make adjustments.
The Auto-Fix is a hidden adjustment, but you can get an idea of when it is being used by looking at your health score. If your health score is not at 100% and Auto-Fix is turned on, the system will react. The lower the health score, the larger the adjustment will be.
The health score shows if the Auto-Fix might adjust prices according to the performance.

You might ask yourself what the difference between this and the monthly adjustment is?
Well, the monthly adjustment is set up manually and will apply to every price calculation regardless of your performance. The Auto-Fix will effectively fix your monthly adjustments if you got them wrong originally – making sure to adjust your prices according to your performance over the upcoming next three months.
