Website Bookings - Calendar Selection vs Date Selection

When creating a new template, or editing an existing template, you have the option to choose between a calendar style view, or a date selector view.

Go to the iBex menu option Website Booking Templates (under the Website Bookings heading).
Select the red ID for your template, and proceed to the General Fields tab.
Under the General subheading, you will see the Format option: Calendar Selection or Date Selection. 

Calendar Selection

The calendar view is ideal for multiple room bookings (group bookings) and split date bookings. Customers can select multiple dates on the calendar, alongside multiple rooms.

Date Selection

The date selector view is ideal for your customers if they tend to book long term. The customer can select their start and end date, and all dates in between are automatically included in their booking.

Alongside their selected room, they can Add which rate they would like to book.

They can then change their dates, amend their guest count, or add another room.
All items will be added into their cart.

When the customer has finished their selection, all rooms are added to the cart in a summarised list.
